I AIN’T SETTLING FOR JUST GETTING BY
I’VE HAD ENOUGH SO-SO FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE
WE’RE ALL LOOKIN FOR A HAPPY ENDING
EVERY DREAM OF WINNING
Elijah Blake
nicknames: Eli
birthday: October 3rd
age: 19
status: Dropped out after failing to complete his junior year for the second time.
orientation Hetereosexual (at least when he's sober)

GREW UP ON A TIGHTROPE, LEARNED TO SMILE
EVEN WHEN I WAS FALLING DOWN
A brown, curly mess. Never styled, always looks like he 'just rolled out of bed'
eye color: Blue
height and weight: 5'11, 180 pounds
distinguishing features: Eli's body is covered in scars. Old, raised scars cover his back from his abusive childhood, his arms laced with scars from bouts of self injury as well.
face claim: Aaron Johnson [/ul][/blockquote]
OUT WHERE YOUR TROUBLES CAN‘T FIND YOU
OUT WHERE YOU LEAVE THEM ALL BEHIND
Drugs (specifically cocaine but he isn't too picky these days), getting into fights, running, reading, shoplifting, gore.
dislikes: Authority (such as the police), coming down from a high, East Siders, distrustful people.
strengths: Cunning, brave, easygoing, intuitive.
weaknesses: Aggressive, thoughtless and irresponsible, impulsive, unpredictable, suffers from drug withdrawal.
fears: Prison, the Devil (his stepfather)
goals: Nothing, really. Life is pointless to Eli. Why have goals?
personality overview: Adjusting to life in West Oak toughened up Elijah. Once a sensitive, crying fool, adapting to the tough, harsh life on the other side of the road hardened Eli, as well as the years of abuse. He sees it as a somewhat positive aspect, leaving the world of cocktail parties and tennis tournaments behind. Elijah is intelligent, managing to avoid prison and being prosecuted for theft and possession of illegal narcotics. If he applied himself at school, Eli would have graduated instead of dropping out. He has a quick temper though, and isn't afraid to get into physical fights. Again, he sees it as the lifestyle of being a West Sider. [/ul][/blockquote]
DEAR MOM AND DAD, I‘LL SEND MONEY
I‘M SO RICH THAT IT AIN‘T FUNNY
Annie, age unknown, unemployed
father: Eli calls him the Devil, real name Christopher, 57, drug dealer (stepfather, real father unknown)
siblings: Elyssa, 18, cashier/prostitute
others: Occasionally visits his Aunt Deanna in secret as she lives in the more modest area of East Oak. She owns a bakery shop.
hometown: Raised in East Oak until about the age of 6, now resides in West Oak.
family social status: Dirt poor. The family once lived a modest, happy life in East Oak. Until, Elijah's mom remarried the Devil after the family woke up one morning and his biological father was nowhere to be found. The Devil's thug lifestyle introduced Annie to the world of booze and narcotics. Her addiction burnt the family's money and they moved to the tiny, cramped apartment complex in West Oak. Elijah blames his childhood for the fact that he too is addicted to drugs and blames them for ruining and destroying his life. He no longer lives with his family. Eli doesn't remember their last name, as the only thing that now matters for everyone in the family is drugs.
brief history: When Annie remarried, Elijah and his sister Elyssa were still innocent and happy children. Then, the Devil came into their lives. The Devil emotionally and physically tormented everyone, himself, his sister and his mom. His mom now does nothing but sit at home, a bottle of hard liquor and prescription pills on the table. Soon after, his sister Elyssa fell into the downward spiral of selling her body to support a meth addiction. The way Eli sees it, he was doomed from the start.
