*Personality*
* Rozilynn (Roz to her teammates, Rosy to her family), is a very internal girl. She’s learned over time that it’s best to keep to yourself and your own business because butting in only leads to trouble. This habit often leads her to jumping to conclusions before knowing all of the facts..and although Rozilynn is not a dense girl, she sometimes finds herself in some sticky situations (especially when it comes to her step-brothers) that she’s become quite skillful at sweet-talking her way out of.
Roz has made her life about sports. After quickly learning that her charm, ready wit and decent GPA wouldn’t be enough to get her into her dream school, she picked up nearly every sport she could squeeze herself into. This has made her very dedicated, loyal and determined, embracing the phrase “take one for the team."*
*Background*
* Rozilynn and her mother, Lynda, lived (more than comfortably) on their own since Roz was two years old. Lynda’s chain of restaurants has allowed her provide plentifully for her daughter, affording her access to the best schools and material things money could buy. Within the year Roz turned 17 years old, her mother met, courted and married Mitchell Perry, an ex officer in the military. Along with him, he brought two twin sons, Mitchell Jr. (Mitch) and Richard (Rich), each 17 years of age. In just a short years, the Perry men managed to completely overrun Roz and her mother, becoming steadily more verbally (and occasionally, physically), abusive. Roz can see that her mother is being used, but after spending so many years alone, Lynda cannot. Roz can only hope to open her mother’s eyes to the gold-digging ways of her step-father.*[/center]
