OUT WHERE YOUR TROUBLES CAN‘T FIND YOU
OUT WHERE YOU LEAVE THEM ALL BEHIND
dancing, fashion, humour, being close to her family, swimming, photography, bright colors, comfy clothing, volleyball
dislikes: the east side, uncomfortable silences, crowds, being bossed around, arrogance, being unable to dance
strengths: humourous, bubbly, friendly, people-person, lovable, ambitious, talented
weaknesses: easily convinced, naive, easily frightened, fragile, shorter than most, sensitive
fears: her dream of being a professional dancer being crushed, not graduating high school
goals: become a professional dancer, eventually have her family be on a steady income
personality overview: Marley is incredibly sweethearted by nature, and it shows in pretty much everything she does, as well as her voice. She speaks in a bubbly tone, with an endearing laugh following most of what she says. Despite the state her family is in, she tries her best to stay as positive as she can in order to make sure her family stays positive as well. She's willing to try anything as long as it sounds fun, which more often than not leads to her getting into trouble.
Despite this, she is extremely fragile, emotionally and physically. She's sprained plenty of joints from accidents that would normally mean a bruise. Emotionally, she can't handle much before she cracks. She can't handle disappointment very well, either-- just the thought that someone is upset with her hurts. She tries not to show it in front of people, because she feels like if she does, she'll upset them, too. She's terrified of not reaching the expectations she's made up for herself, like getting straight A's or making one specific choreography perfect.[/ul][/blockquote]
DEAR MOM AND DAD, I‘LL SEND MONEY

Cecile, 43, hostess
father: Mark, 45, unknown (left the family)
siblings: Taylor Avila, 17, older brother, student
others: A cat named Puck.
hometown: West Oak
family social status: Hovering between poor and middle class.
brief history: Marley grew up surrounded by dance. Her brother, Taylor, started dancing when he was young, Marley following behind him two years later. She automatically moved up to her brother's class, and when they were around 10 and 12, they left their classes to start on their own work, creating choreographies and occasionally, when they weren't bickering and got along for once, duets. If it weren't for dance, Marley would probably be ten times more energetic that she already is. It gets rid of a good amount of her energy, until it literally exhausts her.
Her father left the family when she was three, and Taylor was five. She doesn't remember much of him, except the fact that her mother and father stopped hugging and kissing abruptly. What really happened was that her mother discovered that her father was having an affair with another woman, and ordered a divorce immediately. She doesn't bother to ask about it, because she knows that they're better off without him, anyway. She's seen her fair share of what happens to a broken family, and a family of three that's still together is better than a family of four that's torn apart, in her opinion.
