Monroe sat quietly as both Eli and Gabe left the room, climbing up over the fire escape. Everybody knew what they were going to go do and Monroe wasn't usually one to tell people what was right or wrong for them. He believed they should figure that out for themselves and it's not as if either of the guys would listen to him anyway. So he kept quiet about it. Everybody in the west had their problems and Monroe couldn't really do anything about them, that was their choice, even if he was worried about Gabe and Eli.
"Queen? Yeah, right. I'm a guy. I need twice as much pizza as you do," Monroe shot back at Kaely. "And I don't have any paper, so you're out of luck with the sketch for now." He loved art, but often didn't have a lot of supplies. He was going to art class this summer so maybe he'd make Kaely something there.
The room got kind of quiet after that, although not the comfortable kind of silence. Rylee and Reese seemed particularly tense and he eyed Kaely from across the room, trying to get her to do something that would bring up the mood that had suddenly plummeted. She was known for her upbeat and cheery attitude, wasn't she?
Rylee knew that Gabe hadn't seen the glare she'd given him, either that or he'd blissfully ignored it, but she knew that it made Reese uncomfortable and it really just made Rylee upset. Gabe was throwing his life away and while he wasn't addicted to the max like Eli, things could get out of control. She let out a heavy sigh as the two of them climbed out of the room and put a hand on Reese's arm, in a lame attempt to comfort her, something she wasn't the best at.
They sure brought the mood of pizza night down fast and Rylee lowered her camera and powered it off.

Kaely shook her head and felt incredibly uncomfortable after the whole gabe and eli disappearance. She felt gazes on her and it made it much worse. Kaely took the opportunity to move away from Monroe. "The 'fact' that men eat more than women is such a lie. Have you ever seen us eat? I'm sure if you attempted to take a girl's food, she'd probably bite you." Kaely raised and eyebrow and turned to Rylee. "Don't you dare turn off that camera. We are going to make memories tonight even if it kills us."
Grabbing Reece, she bounded towards the doorway and closed it, turning back to the group. It was Monroe, Rylee, Reece, and herself now, but that was okay. "Reece and I are going to do a little duet today. Ya know, something classic. Something completely flawless that it will bring the men--," She winked at an uncomfortable looking Monroe, and turned to the camera "-- to their knees."
"What is this song, you may be asking?" Kaely grinned. "The CAMPFIRE SONG by Mr. Squarepants himself. Yes, be pleased. We are going to have some fun. Just you wait." Kaely released Reece and grinned. "Do you have any objections, love?" She paused. "I didn't think so. Let's jam!"

Following Gabe out of the room a few minutes later, Eli felt the intense stares on his body soonafter. The stared that felt like knives, stabbing him repeatedly and reminding him how fucked up his life is, and probably would continue to be. Eli's face felt hot, and he let out a sigh. Gabe's body in the distance became a farther blur, as Eli realized he had stopped walking. As one of the oldest, shouldn't he be a positive influence?
The bitter realization that his life meant absolutely nothing in the scheme of things made Eli feel even more pathetic. His pace quickened up, catching up to Gabe. He needed this high, or else some damage could be done.
"Well I'm convinced that everyone hates me." Eli said darkly, sitting down as usual on the room. He stared off in the distance, letting out a sad sigh. "Moreso than they already did. And just prescription pills stolen from my mom. Vicodin, Ativan... that kind of stuff. Sorry man, but my petty theft didn't cut it this week." Pulling out the baggie with a cocktail of prescription medication, Eli looked up at gave, noticing how sad he sounded. "You know... don't want to sound all bro sentimental here, but I care for you Gabe. And... and you're not at the point of addiction, yet. So I understand if you don't want drugs. You're not hopeless, like me." With that, Eli reached into the baggie and took two random pills. He let them dissolve on his tongue, swallowing.

Reese stared at Kaely idly for a few moments as she rambled about some song they should all sing. It took a second for her brain to remind her that there was some show for kids with a squarepants guy. "Kae, I havn't had cable since the age of two," Reese stated bluntly at her friends suggestion. How the hell was she supposed to know what the hell Kaely was talking about when Reese had barely seen a television in years. Sometimes she'd watch one when she visited a friend who had a little more money to spend, but the Espositos were too busy making sure all 7 kids had food to worry about television or other luxuries. Reese chuckled a little bit though, glad that the suggestion at least broke the tesnion in the room a little bit.
"We're all hopeless, Eli," Gabe mused as he took the bottle from Eli and chose two pills at random, just like his friend. "They're just too optimistic to realize that," Gabe muttered as he put the pills under his tongue. He shuttered a little bit once they had dissolved and he swallowed. It would't be long. "The only thing that keeps me from getting my own is knowing that we need the money for food and shit," Gabe said,"I couldn't just let Reese or my brothers starve so I could achieve a high." He knew once he was on his own though, it would probably be another story entirely.

"I was just saying!" Monroe said, putting up his hands in mock defense against Kaely's comment. "In my experience, I've seen men eat more than women. Well, except for Rylee, but she's a beast." He raised an eyebrow when she stood up and took charge, announcing that Reese and her were going to do some sort of duet that would bring men to their knees. "I need to bring another guy in here. I love you guys and all, but it gets old being the only guy who doesn't go outside after pizza night." Spongebob Squarepants? Monroe's younger brother watched that repeatedly, enough to drive Monroe absolutely insane.
Rylee watched as Kaely stood up and attempted to bring up the mood of the place that had fallen since Gabe and Eli left. She was now clenching a fist at her sides, wanting to go smack both Eli and Gabe upside the head, but her attention was averted to Kaely and she nodded. "Alright," she said, as she turned her camera back on, her smile wavering. She knew she shouldn't get so bent out of shape. Gabe could make his own decisions and so could Eli, but that didn't mean they were the right ones and she wanted to beat them both.

Kaely grinned, even though she saw the wavering ones find their way onto her friend's faces, especially Rylee's. But at least they were attempting to smile, which would then lead to a real one. It was proven, that even if you fake being happy, you end up becoming that. It was like when someone started pretending to be what they are not, they started becoming what they faked. It was amazing how things like that worked, really.
Kaely leaned forward, placing her hand on her knees and tilting her head to the side, facing Reece. " So it goes like this. Ready?" She turned her head quickly to the camera, but then back to Reece once again. "Lets gather around the campfire And sing our campfire song Our C-A-M-P-F-I-R-E S-O-N-G song And if you don't think that we can sing it faster then you're wrong But it'll help if you just sing along"
She looked at Monroe, and grinned even wider by the end of it, seeing his horrified face. Kaely knew he had a younger brother, but just by the look on his face, she could tell Spongebob was one of his brother's favorites. "Come on Monroe, join in! By that look in your eyes, I know your itching to sing!" Kaely really hoped this attempt at cheering them up worked. If it didn't, well, she was really out of ideas.
