OUT WHERE YOUR TROUBLES CAN‘T FIND YOU

[li]Peace and Quiet. Adaryn isn’t really an outgoing kind of girl. She is reserved and would much rather sit down in a corner alone, doing nothing but listen to the ringing in her ears because of the silence, than to go out and interact with people.
[/li][li]Books. She can get away from everything for a little while, and sometimes, getting away is exactly what she needs to stay sane.
[/li][li] Art. Adaryn is a closet artist, enjoying sketching and doodling occasionally just to vent her emotions. It’s easier than speaking to other people about them, which she wouldn’t do anyway.
[/li][li]Staying out of the limelight. Basically, she enjoys being invisible. Blending into the crowd is something she always tries to do, and it seemed to have worked, because whenever someone brings up her name to another person, people usually ask ‘who?’
[/li][li]Exploring. Adaryn is the kind of girl who wanders off quite often and loves to explore unknown places. It is something that gets her excited, and even makes her smile. God only knows what she’ll be able to find or discover!
dislikes:
[/li][li]Human interaction. She gets awkward and uncomfortable around people, and prefers to stay alone. It’s easier that way.
[/li][li]Boys. Well, she doesn’t hate them, but she just hates how even more awkward she seems to get around the opposite sex. Sure, she stares from afar, but nothing else. She’d probably choke if she had to speak to somebody she had her eyes on.
[/li][li]Her depression. She has her moments where she thinks that life isn’t worth living, and sometimes she has nobody to tell her to stop from what she does behind her closed doors. She hasn’t attempted suicide yet, but she has self-harmed, and it isn’t something she is too proud of.
[/li][li]Her arms. Adaryn always wears something to cover her arms. Always. The scars that line her arms were sure to draw negative attention, but they also make her feel horrible about herself. Like how did she ever think that hurting herself would solve anything.
[/li][li]Her intensely anti-social nature. Sometimes she just wishes she could be normal, where she could speak to people without stuttering and becoming uncomfortable in her own skin. But at the same time, she enjoys the silence and the being alone. She is conflicted because of that.
strengths:
[/li][li]Her ability to blend into a crowd.
[/li][li]Her speed.
[/li][li]She is incredibly good at sneaking around because she is very light on her feet.
[/li][li]She is excellent at locating hidden or lost items.
weaknesses:
[/li][li]She is incredibly anti-social.
[/li][li] She doesn’t have a high pain tolerance
[/li][li] She is very gullible.
[/li][li] When she is upset, she doesn’t think about the consequences of her actions. She does things in ‘the heat of the moment’
fears:
[/li][li]She’ll become so depressed that she’ll end up killing herself.
[/li][li] Losing a sense of who she is, or rather, who she was before she changed to who she was today.
goals:
[/li][li]Eventually get out of this hole she dug herself in and become a bit more comfortable in society, though the barriers between the two sides of the city doesn’t help in her endeavors.
[/li][li] Make true friends before high school is over.
personality overview: Adaryn is very quiet and very shy, but very respectful towards those her are older than her. She has moments in time where she is actually very sweet, though only to those she is familiar with, such as family, and family friends. But even still, she can be very awkward. Despite her lack of social skills, whenever she does make a friend, they are usually true ones. She distances herself for a while, in fear of getting hurt, but when they prove they are not going to hurt her in such a way, Adaryn is a loyal friend, doing whatever she can to help them. And she sometimes get’s chatty about things she enjoys should you ever befriend her, sometime to the point where she gets embarrassed and shuts up, thinking she is annoying the person. Some call it endearing.[/li][/ul][/blockquote]
DEAR MOM AND DAD, I‘LL SEND MONEY
I‘M SO RICH THAT IT AIN‘T FUNNY
Jennifer Breslin, Age 36, Local elementary school teacher
father: Richard Breslin, Age 40, Pharmacist.
siblings: Carly Alice Breslin, Age 2
Lydia Breslin, Age 19, currently in college in Baltimore.
others: She has a dog name Lucy, a golden retriever/ lab mix, who is merely a puppy.
hometown: Baltimore, Maryland. Moved to West Oak in the summer of 2012.
family social status: They are middle class, though they could only afford West Oak because they have Lydia’s college tuition to pay for.
brief history:
All of the Breslin’s are very hard working individuals, and very passionate about what they do. Jennifer was only 17 when she had Lydia, the oldest daughter, and Richard had been 21. Jennifer’s parents were furious, but still supported their daughter in her decision. Even despite having a two year old, she managed to get her AA, and then shortly after, Adaryn was born. She continued to go to school, despite struggling with two children, but Richard and both of their parents helped so she could continue do what she loved. She graduated from college with average grades, but she graduated none-the-less. She could finally put herself on the level of her now 25 year old husband.
Jennifer and Richard both gave their children the best possible home life they could, and they gave them even more love than probably necessary. Jennifer had a passion for kids, and wanted to teach and work with them so they would grow to one day great citizens. Richard worked as a pharmacist , and it paid well, but when Lydia went to college, they had to downgrade. They simply couldn’t afford the college tuition plus a demanding two year old, as well as a depressed daughter at home. They found West oak, and started looking for home in the area. They moved in the summer of 2012, and have been happy there ever since, at least, over all they were. Adaryn, of course, still had issues. Bad enough issues that on top of that, they had to begin paying for a psychologist that Adaryn refused to even speak for. Eventually, they gave up. Sometimes Jennifer and Richard wonder where they went wrong with Adaryn, but continue to still provide for her and love her in any way Adaryn will allow them to.
