In the middle of the East oak mall stood a girl, hair in a stylish yet messy bun, some loose blonde curls falling to her shoulders. She stared through the window of one of the high end shops. A mannequin was fashioned with a floral blouse and white mini shorts, topping off the synthetic purple wig. Kaely sighed longingly, knowing for a fact that she couldn't pay for it. She'd have to make sure to find a similar outfit at a cheaper price.
Deciding to give up at staring, she turned around to continue on her way, window shopping endlessly, looking for the best fashions and what she would need to look for at thrift shops or things of the like. She stepped past a few people, giving a quick hello to some of the people who greeted her. While turning to someone, she knocked into another and fell to the ground.
Looking up, she looked into the eyes of a boy, about her age, maybe older. "Sorry," She said apologetically, standing up and brushing herself off. "I didn't see you."

Daniel was strolling through the mall, taking a b-line to the thrift shop to find his latest outfit. His hat was basically falling off of his head, as the back had ripped. To top it all off, his favourite shirt got ripped up by one of the loose West Side dogs. It was terrible and he needed new clothes soon.
Before the end of his route, he decided to take a detour down a lane of the mall he had never been to before. He knew there were pricey things down this way, but it was worth a gander. As he made his way though a sea of people, a girl, looked frazzled as she said hello to the others, ran into him and fell down. He reached his hand down to help her, but she had already recovered quickly.
"It's alright" Daniel said, eyeing her clothing. It was girly, a bit fancy, but it looked good. Especially on her. "Were you looking for something?" he questioned her, a tone of care in his voice. [/color]

Smiling sheepishly, Kaely shook her head no. "Not quite. I guess you could say I was window shopping. East oak mall is way too expensive for me." Of course, he was probably from East Oak and could possibly tell, just by that response, that she was from West. Kaely hoped he would be a bit open about the whole situation.
"But I like to look at the latest fashions, because it will give me an idea of what to buy and what to get at places that are a bit cheaper." Kaely shrugged, the smile never leaving her face as she held eye contact. "But how about you? Anything specific you were trying to get at, and If you were, I hope you weren't in a rush."

He could tell by her answer that she was from West Side, but it didn't make much of a difference to him, as his parents came from the West, so it was more or less his heritage. "Oh, I really wasn't going anywhere specific, just one of the thrift ships at the end of the mall. Were you going to the one the one the other way? I just came from there, and they really didn't have anything in stock today."
He didn't realize it, but he had been smiling a wide smile himself as he talked to her; she had a sense of compassion and trust about her, something he didn't see in many people nowadays. "Would you want to come with me to the other thrift shop? We could shop around there and look for some good items" he said quietly, trying not to get over-excited. "I'm in no hurry to leave, and I hope you aren't either"
